Round 1
They touch gloves in the center of the octagon. Lauzon gets a clinch immediately and takes down Stout. Stout is in half guard and tries to roll out and get up. Lauzon lands some shots. Lauzon looks like he was gonna rip Stouts arm off but Stout able to get away and get up. He’s bleeding bad over his left eye. Lauzon and Stout exchange some strikes. Lauzon shoots in and gets the takedown but is tagged with a few punches on his way. Both men stand up and back to the center. Lauzon shoots in and ends up on the bottom. Stout lands an elbow. Stout lands two strikes and then stands up. Both men up and throw some strikes. Stout counters with a left hook and is now landing some nice shots to the body of Lauzon. Lauzon trying to get in for another take down but Stout is landing some big punches. Stout lands some nice combos of punches and leg kicks with 30 seconds left in round. Stout lands a big spinning back fist as the round closes. (I’d give the round to Stout 10-9)

Round 2
Lauzon tries for a takedown early but Stout is blocking each take down and landing some punches on Lauzon. Stout lands a leg kick and then a head kick. Lauzon is stunned but goes for a take down and gets Stout down. Stout tries to use the cage to get up and does. Both fighters back up and in the center. Stout lands a punch and kick combo. Stout goes for another kick but Lauzon catches and is unable to o anything with it. Back to some pawing between each other. Each man catch a punch when they try to land their own. Lauzon is blocking Stout’s strikes. Stout starting to tee off and Lauson goes for a takedown but Stout blocks and gets on top. But he breaks and both men are up. Stout lands a nice right hand. The round ends with Stout in control on the ground. (I give Stout the round 10-9)

Round 3
They touch gloves to start the round and then both fighters exchange strikes. The action has picked up. Lauzon is pushing the action. But Stout quickly gains control with some nice combos. Lauzon misses another takedown. Stout lands 2 right hands. Stout is aggressive with his combos of punches and kicks. Lauzon keeps pressing but Stout is looking good with various combos. Stout blocks another takedown. Stout has landed another body shot. Lauzon looks to be slowing down with 3 minutes left. Stout lands some body shots and leg kick combos. Stout looks in complete control with his striking but Lauzon takes down Stout. Lauzon gets a guillotine choke but Stout gets out and lands a strike. Both men are up and throwing punches with 1 minute left. Stout lands a big shot and stops another takedown. ( I give Stout the round 10-9).

Winner- Sam Stout via Unanimous Decision (30-26, 30-27, 30-27)
